Responsibilities:
- Devise the IT framework, technology procedures and practices of an organization. Set up the policies and structures for managing the underlying IT infrastructure, which comprises all of the organization’s computers, servers, computer peripherals, telecommunication systems, internet connectivity networks, software applications, software development and date centers.
- Align the IT vision with the overall business strategy of the organization and is responsible for delivering IT services to the various other units of the organization. Ensure that all IT assets and systems are functioning smoothly for the employees and extended workforce of the organization.
- Manage closely the organization’s internal IT team, comprising of hardware and network/technical support group, database/systems administrators, software developers and telecom/helpdesk group. Responsible for allocating specific roles and responsibilities, oversee development projects and manages their needs and requirements, mentors and infuses a teamwork ethic.
- Responsible for frequent dealing with IT vendors/suppliers/providers, data center partners and outsourcing agencies when purchasing IT assets and ensure efficient running of the IT infrastructure. Possess sound negotiation skills to leverage organizational purchasing power and also to draw up the best contracts and service level agreements.
- Maintain smooth working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, keeps informed about the latest IT sector happenings and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any computer related courses: Management information System, Information Technology and other related courses
- Master’s degree in the abovementioned academic qualifications is a plus factor
- Very good project management and people management skills
- At least 8-10 years of a senior management experience in managing a large organization's information technology strategic plan
- Willing to be relocated to Cebu
