Cebu - Safety and Security Officer

Responsibilities:
Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the Safety and Security Manager in implementing loss prevention, safety and security awareness programs with the overall objective of ensuring safety and security of the employees, customers, visitors and company properties.
Administration
· Serve as one of the company’s emergency wardens and a member of the health and safety committee
· Assist in the supervision of security and protective services
· Assist in crowd or traffic control during scheduled activities or emergency situations
· Monitor employee adherence to safety and security procedures
· Conduct and write investigation reports as needed
Logistical Support
· Propose and initiate programs or projects related to company security and safety
· Coordinate training related to safety and security with relevant departments within the company
· Assist in the implementation of policies, procedures and strategies based on effective industry, local or national security policies for the protection of people, data, property and institutions
· Liaise with external organizations such as fire department, mutual aid societies, rescue teams and local government agencies
· Perform tasks or projects related to safety and security that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree; Criminology or other related courses is preferred
· At least 1 year experience in corporate safety and security or building administration
· Safety certification and affiliation with Safety and Security Organization, an advantage
· Willing and able to work on extended hours, GY shift and weekends or holidays
· Willing and able to work on shifting schedules
